• Bayer MaterialScience AG strengthens the industry location North Rhine-Westphalia and invests 150m € in a new TDI (Toluylen-Diiscyanat) high-tech production facility at the Chempark Dormagen. Up to 15 new jobs will be created.
• The Dutch photovoltaic company Scheuten Solar expands its production line in Gelsenkirchen, with 60 MW. Through the state-of-the art expansion the capacity will reach approximately 200MW.
• The French company Elmetherm S.A. has bought the insolvent industrial furnace company Elino in Düren.
• The German recycling company ReFat Dorsten/ Marl GmbH invests together with the Bavarian G+R Technology Group AG 20m € to establish in Dorsten/ Marl a fat recycling plant. Up to 40 jobs will be created.
• Landal GreenParks, part of the US company Wyndham Worldwide Inc. invests 46m € in Winterberg to establish its first vacation park in North Rhine-Westphalia. Up to 30 jobs will be created.
• The Austrian producer of safety technology EVVA Sicherheitstechnologie GmbH establishes a new subsidiary in Velbert, which is part of the RegioCluster (Schlüsselregion) for safety technology.
• The French company AREVA Energietechnik GmbH, producer of electrical equipment, expands its subsidiary in Mönchengladbach and inaugurates a new logistic warehouse for 1m €.
• The Chinese ICT company ZTE, supported by NRW.INVEST, expands its activities in North Rhine-Westphalia and establishes a new test lab in Düsseldorf.
• The British online marketing company AD2ONE GmbH expands its activities in Germany and establishes a new office in Düsseldorf.
• The Spanish food producer Cárnicas Serrano SL has announced to establish a subsidiary in Düsseldorf.
• The Austrian steel construction company Unger Steel GmbH announces to establish a subsidiary in Düsseldorf.
• The Dutch rental company Boels expands its activities in North Rhine-Westphalia and establish a new branch in Düsseldorf.
• The US provider of single board computers and equipment Advanced Digital Logic Inc. establishes its European Headquarter in Siegen.
• The eBay Advertising Group GmbH, part of the US media company eBay Inc. establishes a new office in Düsseldorf.
• The technical service company Quip AG, subsidiary of the Luxemburg Le Foyer Finance S.A., expands its Headquarter in Baesweiler and builds a new production hall for 0.5m €. Up to 35 new jobs will be created.
• ICIS Heren, part of the British Reed Elsevier plc. and provider of energy market information has announced to open an office in Düsseldorf.
• The British automotive parts manufacturer Klarius Group Ltd. inaugurates in Unna a new logistic warehouse besides its subsidiary Quinton Hazell.
• Maplesoft, daughter of the Japanese Fuji Soft Inc. and provider of high-performance software for engineering, science and mathematics announced to establish its first German subsidiary in Aachen.
